Join The University Church to celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent at either 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 4747 Hill Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43615 (on the south side of Hill Avenue, between Richards Road and Reynolds Road).
We will be lighting the candles of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love in our Advent wreath and be singing many of our favorite songs about “love”! Music will be led by Matt Cook and Ronnie Lindsey. Our Advent sermon series continues to explore the coming of Christ through the lens of the prophet Isaiah as interpreted by Matthew in his Gospel. This week, we will think about what it means to “Love One Another”.
Come early to enjoy fair-trade tea, coffee and cocoa with friends, both old and new. After our evening service, join us for Afterglow! as we gather at a local restaurant to eat together and continue the conversation. All are welcome.
