Wouldn’t you love your children to be part of a community with a conscience?
During the 9:30 a.m. community worship gatherings on Sunday mornings, The University Church provides educational opportunities for infants, toddlers, and young children. Children are, of course, always welcome to sit in the sanctuary for our worship gatherings, but we understand that parents might choose for their children to participate in age-appropriate, supervised activities instead.
Preschool-aged children and toddlers (ages 5 and under) can participate in the church’s nursery while the worship service is in progress. Elementary school children (ages 6 through 11 years old) have an opportunity to worship with their families and then are excused for an engaging, age-appropriate lesson during the sermon. All children have the opportunity to participate in communion, which is a part of every worship service at The University Church.
We welcome children and know they are an important part of our church family!
