What are you doing this evening?

What are you doing this evening?

Join us on Sunday, July 25th at 6:00 p.m. as The University Church gathers for worship at 4747 Hill Avenue in Toledo (located on the south side of Hill Avenue, between Richards Road and Reynolds Road).

We are continuing our series that explores the time “After Jesus” as described in the Acts of the Apostles. This week we encounter the extraordinary account of a woman called Tabitha and how her faith led her to be a source of support for the underprivileged in her town. That is, until she died. What happens next in the narrative is a brilliant showcasing by the author of the importance of women in the early Christian movement. There is much we have to learn for narratives such as this!

Music will be led by Matt Cook and Ronnie Lindsey.  Everyone is welcome. Come and join us!

Come early to meet with friends, old and new, and to enjoy fair-trade tea, coffee and cocoa.  After worship join us for Afterglow! as we gather at a local restaurant to continue the conversation.
