Join us for worship at 10:00 a.m. and/or 6:00 p.m. at The University Church (4747 Hill Avenue in Toledo, Ohio; located on the south side of Hill Avenue between Reynolds Road and Richards Road). Come early for fair-trade tea, coffee or cocoa and to talk with friends, both old and new. After each service we gather at a local restaurant to continue the conversation and all are welcome to come and eat and talk together.
Music will include a special selection sung by Melissa Joseph with Matt Cook and Charles Foster as instrumentalists as well as an instrumental featuring Allie Denham on sax and Ernie Johansson on piano. Ronnie Lindsey and Linda Carter will be contributing their skills as well.
We will be continuing our journey through the Biblical narrative and exploring the account of the Exodus from Egypt through to the point where we encounter a disturbing description involving a golden calf!
