Hello from Wolfy

.

Hi there! My name is Wolfy. It is to my understanding that when I first made The University Church my home, all the humans believed I was a chicken. I would like to make it very clear that I am, in fact, a rooster. My beautiful, manly white plumage (or feathers for those who have not mastered bird-speak) should have been enough for the humans to know I am male, but I had to crow to make it obvious.

 .

So it seems there is quite a lot of activity in the community garden! There are these big, white, box-looking things behind the clear houses. I keep hearing the words “farm” and “fish.” I know what a farm is, but what in the world is a fish? Is it something for me? Can I eat it? If I can’t eat it then why do they even have it? I have no idea what in the world those strange humans have up their sleeves, but I’m keeping my eyes on them.

 .

Also, my lovely hens have donated three hundred fifty of their eggs to the Toledo Seagate Foodbank. I am so proud of all my pretty ladies! They put in all the hard work, and got nothing out of it, just so they could help the hungry humans. They are so caring and thoughtful!

.

Finally, the humans have planted so much food! Everywhere I turn I smell the veggies! In those white pots on sticks there are a ton of them. And in the raised beds next to my coop there are all sorts of yummy things. Also, it looks like the humans have divided that big, circular plant bed into equal areas so they each have a space to plant. I hope all of these vegetables are for me and my hens. And for the hungry people too.
