Congratulations! The University Church family raised $16,379.62 to renovate our building! We surpassed our original goal of $15,000.00 and met all of our expenses.
In an effort to maintain a welcoming environment for all of the people who join us Sunday through Saturday, The University Church has embarked on a mission to update our facility. The first phase of our plan has been to freshen-up the main meeting area and sanctuary with a new coat of paint and clean, durable flooring.
We are very grateful to all of the volunteers who worked so hard to finish this project. To everyone who painted, moved furniture, and cleaned; we are so thankful that you are part of the team. A special “thank you” is due to Janet Firestone, the chair of our Trustees, who spearheaded this effort and to Nathan Chambers who donated his time and talent in drywall repairs.
We are very excited for what the future holds for our church family and we trust that by continuing to welcome our guests and community members with love and hospitality we will also be welcoming Christ into our midst.
