First Sunday Potlucks are The University Church’s take on the unofficial third sacrament of the United Methodist Church: the church potluck! Join us on the first Sunday of every month, directly following our 5:00 p.m.Vespers worship gathering for food, fun, and fellowship!
On Sunday, August 6, 2017 Sarah Moon (seminary student and member of The University Church) will share pictures and stories from her recent trip to Israel and Palestine. She will touch on the history, archaeology, modern politics, and (of course) cats of the Holy Land.
There will be Palestinian dishes to snack on. Feel free to bring your own dish to share. Children are welcome and there will be kid-friendly activities available.
