Our new Garden Director, Jennifer Tantanella, comes to us with a bachelor’s degree of science in environmental science and conservation and more than 10 years of experience working on independent, small to medium scale farms. With interests in horticulture and herbalism and a desire to serve through eliminating food deserts and providing access to fresh and healthy food for folks in underserved communities, Jennifer’s goals and the goals of TUC Garden go hand-in-hand.
For those of us who have had the pleasure to meet Jennifer already, we appreciate her empathy, compassion, and gentle leadership skills.
If you haven’t had a chance to stop by the Garden and welcome Jennifer, we would love to invite you to drop by. Her regular office (garden) hours are Monday mornings and Wednesdays through Saturdays during the day.
