Rogers High School Outreach – Wakanda Night

Wakanda Night 2020

On February 20, 2020 Rogers High School held our first Wakanda Night, a school event for the Rogers Learning Community. Just like the country Wakanda from the film Black Panther, Rogers High School is a hidden gem filled with successful and prosperous individuals, each with boundless potential. The entire school staff joined together to highlight the departments and programs that make our school great, giving each of us the opportunity to experience Rogers High School as Wakanda. Community partners were available throughout the event to help connect students and families to resources in our own community. Over 400 people were in attendance for this family event which was filled with STEAM activities and artistic performances. What a great way to celebrate Black History Month!
