The University Church’s Community Health Worker (CHW) has become a bit of a local celebrity in our community. Whether she is out for a walk or attending a child’s birthday party, she is quickly identified as “the woman who helps people”. As a CHW, Sheila connects pregnant women and new mothers with lifesaving services and resources. Her work provides crucial support to local women and children. The University Church is continually grateful for Sheila’s presence in our community and for the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio’s partnership, which makes this work possible.
